The Apprentice will join the Customer Support Team to support with general administration and financial activities. The Customer Support Team sits at the heart of the business and is responsible for managing a wide variety of calls, e-mails and request from clients and other parts of the business.

Job Details:

A well established telecommunication company is now looking for a Business Development Apprentice to join their team as the organisation continues to grow and build upon it’s success. Ideally, you will be confident, hardworking and career driven to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating client information on companies CRM (Connectwise)
  • Calling prospective clients and arranging appointments for Business Development Managers.
  • Booking appointments and logging on spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Liaising with BDMs and clients via Outlook.
  • Researching IT and Telecoms industry, staying up to date with product information via internet including; traditional telecoms, data connectivity, mobile communications, IT Hardware, IT support.
  • Creating documents reflective of your research using Microsoft Word.
  • Working to weekly targets.
  • Full training will be provided.

Additional Information:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 09:00-17:00
  • £10,725
  • Bonus will also be paid if you achieve your weekly targets/KPIs
  • 29 days holiday + 25th & 26th December, 1st & 2nd January

 

Future Career Progression:

As you complete your apprenticeship and continue to develop you will have the opportunity to move into a Business Development Manager role, attending meetings with prospective clients and encouraging them to use the companies products and services.

As you will be working for a living wage accredited employer, once you receive your qualification your wage will rise to the real living wage. Currently, this is £9 per hour/£17,550. You will be paid commission on top of this should you meet your targets.
