Short Description
We are seeking a self-motivated and conscientious person who will enjoy fulfilling the day to day business administration activities and supporting the existing Risk & Control team.

Full Description
As a Risk & Control Apprentice you will contribute to supporting Prudential Financial Partners (PFP) by carrying out tasks in relation to risk co-ordination and breaches.

Your duties will include:

  • Daily management of the breaches mailbox.
  • Logging breaches.
  • Creating simple spreadsheets.
  • Logging data.
  • Assisting in the preparation, completion and submission of monthly reporting.
  • Taking minutes.
  • Tracking and chasing audit actions.
  • Co-ordination breaches.
  • Audit preparation for compliance monitoring.

Future Prospects

This is a fixed term contract for 15 months upon which the business may decide to retain, subject to the apprentice performance, headcount and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to that specific role/department.

Training Provided
Your apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of virtual online lectures alongside internal training and on-the-job learning, this will lead to obtaining your Business Administration Level 3 qualification.

15 months fixed term

Qualities Required
As a minimum 5 National qualifications at level 4/5 including Maths and English (or previously known as Standard Grades in Maths and English grades (1-3). Ideally the candidate will have A Levels / AS Levels (grade C+ in Maths) or Highers.

This apprenticeship is suitable for someone who is looking to start a career in financial services but has little or no experience, recent school/college/sixth form leavers looking for a change in their career path.
