As a Consultant Apprentice, your role will vary daily as you get involved in a full range of client issues and learn the skills needed to become a valued advisor to captains of British industry.

Responsibilities will include:

– Supporting the delivery of client-facing plan management activities and project deliverables
– Assisting in day-to-day retirement management services, including drafting trustee reports, newsletters and funding statements
– Playing an active part in delivering client satisfaction, retention and profitability
– Carrying out administrative tasks contributing to the retirement and investment consulting process
– Inputting data accurately to maintain management information

Our 18 month Level 3 Consulting Apprentice Programme will provide you with the communication and client facing skills for a long running career as a Pensions Consultant, as well supporting you through the first stages of the PMI (The Pensions Management Institute) qualifications. There will be plenty of on-the-job, business skills, and technical training to help you develop the skills needed to provide innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Qualifications needed

Five national 5’s or equivalent including English and Maths and at least 280 UCAS points for exams sat prior to 2017, and 112 UCAS points for exams to be sat post 2017, from three Highers or equivalent (excluding General Studies) i.e. BBC
Familiarity with spreadsheets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
True understanding the value of customer service
Clear aptitude for teamwork, planning and organising
