The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is an independent body corporate established by the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008.Its function is to provide administrative support to Scottish courts and tribunals and to the judiciary of courts, including the High Court of Justiciary, Court of Session, sheriff courts and justice of the peace courts, and to the Office of the Public Guardian and Accountant of Court. We place digital innovation at the centre of our service delivery, making sure that courts and tribunals maximise the opportunities afforded by technology to create better processes, provide easy access and sharing of information, and provide courtrooms with the technology to minimise physical appearance and support quicker outcomes.”

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and driven person to join our IT department on a 2 year apprenticeship programme.
• Service desk (1st line support)
• PC implementation
• Networks and Storage
There’s a distinct possibility that a permanent role (which would be a promotion) will become available after the 2 years, but if this doesn’t materialise we’ll have given you the kind of springboard that takes ambitious young adults to the next level of their career in a short period of time.

- You are a digital native, so you will be confident working with technology and have an interest in learning new technologies.
IT is for everyone! So we’d welcome applications from females looking to start out in IT, as much as we would males. Primarily, we are looking for the right personalities as well as people with, enthusiasm, drive and determination to succeed.
Previous evidence of utilising digital innovation/IT as part of a project. (This may be a school/college project or something you produced in your own time).
Resilient and is able to effectively challenge, negotiate and influence (We can help you with this).
Someone with 5 standards (Level 1 – 3) OR 5 National Level 5 grades, both qualifications including Maths and English would be ideal
Other Important Information
Daily working hours: 37.5 Hours per week, £17, 684 (increasing to £18,250 after passing probation)
