Apprenticeship Apprentice Estate Caretaker
Cadder HA was established in 1994 and is situated in the North West of Glasgow. We own and manage 1050 properties of mixed stock type in Cadder. Cadder HA provides training and employment opportunities and apprenticeships to long term unemployment people and school leavers. We have supported over 40 apprenticeships through our work since 2006.
We are recruiting 4 modern apprenticeships in grounds and landscape maintenance to work within our Estate Caretaking team undertaking a range of tasks in the upkeep and maintenance of the Cadder area. The apprenticeship will include a SVQ level 2 Amenity and Horticultural Landscape Gardener, as well as a range of certificated and on-the job training over the 2 year apprenticeship programme.
Applicants should be willing to undertake manual work in a range of tasks in the upkeep and maintenance of the Cadder area e.g. grass cutting, hedge trimming, stair cleaning and other general labouring tasks. You should have an interest in gardening, as well as a commitment to complete the SVQ qualification and other certificated training.
