Brief overview of the role
We are currently recruiting for accommodation maintenance apprentices to join us to embark on a 2 year Apprenticeship Programme.

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
The apprentice programme combines ‘block release’ training at Stephensons College, a specialist facility in Leicestershire, with on-the-job training in a Service Centre near your home. You’ll usually attend college in one week blocks every month working towards a property maintenance qualification. During your time at college you’ll recieve travel expenses, accommodation, food and lots of support.
The rest of the year, you’ll be a key member of one of our Service Centre teams learning to:
- Carry out repairs and reactive maintenance on accommodation units
- Work safely both in the workshop and on site
- Maintain plumbing and drainage systems
- Safely repair electrical items such as plug sockets
- Carry out painting task
- Assist work colleagues as and when required
Requirements and prospects

- Good team player
- Good communicational skills
- Must have National 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will move into an Accomodation Maintenance role with the opportunity to develop further through additional training opportunities.
Things to consider
You will be required to stay away at Stephenson College in Leicestershire on a block release basis. Stephenson College provide landlady accommodation for all apprentices from Monday – Thursday night during college blocks. You will stay with a local landlady on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. You will always be placed with at least one other apprentice. All of the landlady accommodation has been fully vetted by the college.
All travel expenses, accommodation and food will be covered by the company whilst at college.
Every effort is made to ensure there is continual support to those studying away from home.
